It features the largest and most innovative burr set among all Comandante grinders, constructed from high-alloy stainless steel. The grinder body is carved from a single block of high-quality stainless steel, embodying the robustness and precision synonymous with "Made in Germany," this time with 60 mm (2.36") burrs!

The Grinding Mechanism of the Comandante
The Comandante C60 introduces the new GX50 Gold Clix grind adjustment system, which allows for ultra-precise fine-tuning even within a single brewing method. Whether you need a coarser grind for filter coffee or a finer one for an optimal espresso result, the securely locking click mechanism in the grind setting prevents accidental adjustments during grinding, ensuring consistent settings for all brewing methods. As the name suggests, unlike Comandante's C40 hand grinders, the C60 boasts 60 mm (2.36") burrs, providing a larger grinding surface for a uniform and rapid grinding experience. 

Premium Materials in the Comandante
Just like the C40 hand grinders, the Comandante C60 includes two "Bean Jar" grinding containers in the package: one brown glass and one clear polymer glass. Both containers are flavor-neutral, food-safe, and easy to clean with hot water. Each container has a 40-gram (0.088 lb) coffee capacity. Comandante products are aluminum-free and exclusively crafted from sturdy, safe, and food-grade materials such as stainless steel, wood, glass, or high-quality polymers.

High-performance polymers are used in some components to make the grinder lighter, structurally stable, and highly durable. They are BPA-free and have been extensively tested and certified as safe for food contact by reputable regulatory bodies.

Comandante cherishes wood. The grinder's crank knob is manufactured in the Black Forest and crafted from solid oak wood - a solid piece of nature with a beautiful grain pattern, designed for comfortable and efficient use.
