Barigo Altimeter with Car Holder - No. 27, US / Feet

The Barigo Altimeter with Car Holder - No. 27 is a high-precision instrument that measures altitude in feet, with a dial range of 0 to 8,000 feet. It features a resolution of 100 feet per rotation, making it easy to read and accurate. The altimeter is powered by a Swiss-made force cartridge with a diameter of 38mm, ensuring a linear transfer of height while air pressure is rising or falling. Its shockproof design makes it ideal for use in rugged outdoor environments. The dial has a diameter of 60mm and the case is made of plastic with rounded edges for a comfortable grip. It measures 65 x 23.5mm and has a plastic watch glass. The altimeter is lightweight at 40g, including the movement. It comes with a dashboard mounting accessory for easy installation in your car.

Altimeter
After several weeks the needle fell off the post on the altimeter.

Aneroid Barometer

It works well. I checked it against the National Weather Service (U.S.) and another instrument for accuracy. Once adjusted for elevation the barometer is accurate. I have seen it change by more than an inch as the weather changed. Typical German quality and engineering, it's worth the money.

The cheap Chinese barometers are sometimes off by more than inch of Hg as the weather changes, they aren't worth the money.

The item came neatly packaged but when I opened the box I noticed the lense was as cloudy and had some scuff marks on it. I tired cleaning but that did not help. The instrument is still readable and I installed it in my semi. I will test it out this weekend but am disappointed in the cosmetic appearance. The lense should be crystal clear and transparent.

Thank you for your review. We only sell new goods, of course with a crystal clear dial (without scratches or marks).
For this reason, the dial is covered with a protective film. You have to remove these, then the problem with the streaks and scratches will be eliminated. Then the view of the dial is clear.

Amazingly perfect slices

The bread slicer is easy to assemble and use and cuts perfect slices every time. You need to find an adequate surface onto which the suction cups will properly attach to ensure that the slicer does not move while you're slicing. A marble surface didn't work for us, but a melamine one did.

Crank handle bread slicer

It cuts bread very effectively, even fresh bread and the slice thickness mechanism is easy to use. If I were to improve the slicer I would make the shaft of the crank handle a little longer so it has less tendency to hit the slice of bread being cut as it rotates around. Alternatively provide a guide to keep the handle away from what's being sliced. The slicer wasn't cheap and the price reflects the very good quality of German manufacture, it's very well made indeed and you get what you pay for.

The grinder is excellent. However, my experience with the shipment with UPS was pitiful. The package arrived over a week late and was wet and the grinder has been removed from the original packaging. It was just a mess, however the grinder itself if very good. I don’t blame Loewen META for the shipping experience. This was all UPS’s fault.
