I had a very good experience grinder was shipped quickly. It took a while to get here, but that’s understandable from Germany to the United States. Grinder itself is of extraordinary quality and provides a very consistent grind. For more lightly roasted beans. I would recommend the longer handles. Thank you!

Regarding your note about longer handles: For the Comandante we offer two options – the XL Black Crank with a length of 18 cm (7.08 inches) and the XXL Crank with a length of 20 cm (7.87 inches) for even more leverage. Both are excellent upgrades to make grinding with a manual coffee grinder even more comfortable – especially for harder, lighter-roasted beans.

Love the quality! Game changer for cutting my sour dough bread!!
Lovely product that is a joy to use. Would be very nice if there was a guard to stop the slice coming out of the slicer hitting the handle. Also the suction cups slip on a stone bench top. Perhaps there could be a hook to grab the edge of the bench.

Regarding the suction cups: as with all devices that use suction feet, the ZASSENHAUS bread slicer is designed for smooth, flat surfaces. On textured or porous countertops, such as stone, suction may be limited. Many of our customers place the bread slicer on a smooth board or tray to ensure a secure hold.
We also appreciate your suggestion about a guard to prevent the sliced bread from hitting the handle. This is a thoughtful idea, and we’re happy to pass it on to ZASSENHAUS for consideration.
