Power outage

The thermometer was our connection to the house temperature during a prolonged power outage. They, the hygrometer and thermometer, are well made and one day soon will be installed in the finished wine cellar, also known as the wine closet.

Best thing to slice bread!

I love this slicer! It is well made. Thanks to the carriage and pusher I'm not afraid that I'll lose my fingers. The bread guide to keep the slices away from the crank is a great addition. A quick wipe of the counter top and suction cups with a damp cloth and the machine will stick to the counter like superglue. Slices through crusty sourdough like a hot knife through butter. Just fantastic!
