The WESTERLAND Pepper and Salt Mill by ZASSENHAUS combines the best of tradition and modern lifestyle, inspired by the capital of the Sylt Island. The simple, lacquered beech and oak design reminiscent of the majestic lighthouses of the North Sea island adds an elegant touch to any table. The proven grinding mechanism is made of high-performance ceramic, surpassing the hardness of steel. It effortlessly grinds everything from fine peppercorns to robust salt crystals and dried spices, ensuring a consistent texture. You can easily adjust the desired grinding coarseness from ultra-fine (1) to coarsely ground (6) continuously and conveniently at the bottom of the mill.

Retro hand bread slicer exceeded expectations

I am an avid sour dough bread maker. I found slicing my SD bread difficult and messy. Even using a powered meat slicer, it was a difficult and potentially dangerous procedure. The Zassenhaus slicer arrived very quickly. Out of the box, it was smaller than expected and a little under-whelming. Then we tried it. It worked so well, so safely and so easily. It is really a well designed and well made item. I highly recommend it. I am even offering to slice for my SD making friends. It is so fun and satisfying to use.
