Receta Spaetzle (fideos frescos)
Para servir de 2 a 3 porciones, mezcle: 1 taza de harina (1/4 libra), 1/3 a 1/2 taza de agua o leche, 1 huevo, 1 cucharadita de sal. Batir bien con una cuchara o batidora de mano hasta que la masa muestre burbujas de aire.

  1. Enjuague la prensa con agua FRÍA antes de llenarla (también enjuague antes de volver a llenarla, al preparar cantidades de cerveza).
  2. Presione la masa lentamente en 3 cuartos de agua hirviendo con SAL, manteniendo la prensa de 2 a 3 pulgadas para fideos CORTOS o de 4 a 5 pulgadas para fideos LARGOS por encima del agua hirviendo.
  3. Tan pronto como los fideos suban a la superficie, escúrralos bien y enjuáguelos con agua fría o caliente. Después de su uso ENJUAGUE PRESS inmediatamente con agua fría. Nunca presione sobre una placa caliente.

Excited to try

It arrived packaged very nicely, everything looked good. I haven't tried it yet but I do like the way the arm detaches to clean the press. I plan on making spaetzle very soon. I am super excited.

Retro hand bread slicer exceeded expectations

I am an avid sour dough bread maker. I found slicing my SD bread difficult and messy. Even using a powered meat slicer, it was a difficult and potentially dangerous procedure. The Zassenhaus slicer arrived very quickly. Out of the box, it was smaller than expected and a little under-whelming. Then we tried it. It worked so well, so safely and so easily. It is really a well designed and well made item. I highly recommend it. I am even offering to slice for my SD making friends. It is so fun and satisfying to use.
