The bark boards can be washed in both household dishwashers and commercial dishwashers (up to 90 °C / 194 °F). If the boards are placed too closely together in the dishwasher, we recommend leaving a slat free between each board.
What happens to my knife when using a bark board?
Compared to glass, plastic, and ceramic, wood has the best properties when it comes to "not dulling" knife blades. However, it's advisable to avoid using "serrated knives" to preserve the coating.
Why does the bark board withstand the dishwasher?

What does "coated with food-safe material" mean?
This involves a multi-layered paint structure with a specially developed food-safe paint to protect the surface. Upon request, we'd be happy to provide you with a valid food safety certificate.
