Sieger Knife Sharpener Long Life from Sintered Ruby

The Sieger-Long Life is made from ceramics. A densely sintered material without any binder, which contains the following properties due to the crystalline structure:

Outstanding surface finish
Excellent stability of profiles and edges
Great wear resistance
Extreme hardness (almost diamant-hard)
Sharp, even grinding pattern
Available in two lengths: 200 mm (7.9") and 280mm (11")

Advantage: The Sieger-Long Life is superior to a common sharpening steel due to its universal utilisability and its endurance to be used for all European kinds of steel, but also for Asian blades. Sieger ruby knife sharpener

This is my fourth Sieger sharpener. After watching an amazing demonstration on YouTube I ordered one. These work best when used to maintain a fine edge on quality knives rather than resharpening a damaged blade. If you simply use this frequently on a good blade the knife will perform perfectly. Expensive but worth it. I have them in the kitchen, shop and bought two more for my children.

As I mentioned before the Knife sharpener is a great tool for my husband’s work, after use this sharper the knife going to be more sharp than before! Even something unhappy happens about the shipping, but still it’s a worthy to wait.

Best shop and product for flaking compared to much more costly versions

Perfect flaker, easy with the long handle, easier than electric ones without the blockages and mess of other brands. Only shop to post so quickly too. I could have literally saved a couple of thousand dollars buying here is i knew it existed and posted to australia earlier. I make mung bean flakes then roast in the oven! 😊

Best Thing Since Sliced Bread

I love my bead slicer. It is a game changer.
We only eat homemade bread;
sour dough being our favorite.
The Zassenhaus bread slicer is worth every dollar I spent to buy it.

I would make a design change. I would have more space between where the turning handle is and where the bread comes out.
The bread can get caught up in that area as it is now.

The adjustment I made to this was to cut my loaf in half lengthwise and then slice half slice pieces of bread. They do not get caught up as a whole slice of bread does.
