I am an avid sour dough bread maker. I found slicing my SD bread difficult and messy. Even using a powered meat slicer, it was a difficult and potentially dangerous procedure. The Zassenhaus slicer arrived very quickly. Out of the box, it was smaller than expected and a little under-whelming. Then we tried it. It worked so well, so safely and so easily. It is really a well designed and well made item. I highly recommend it. I am even offering to slice for my SD making friends. It is so fun and satisfying to use.
